How to Use Vancouver and AMA Bibliography Styles in a Report

Purpose

Vancouver and AMA are two commonly used report citation styles. This KB article will show you how to use these in report with the simple process of copy and pasting the files into your personal Style folder on your C: Drive.

Process

   1.  Open this folder on the Evaluation Unit SharePoint document library. 

   2.  Copy the Vancouver and AMA styles into your mouse memory.

   3.  Open File Explorer on your computer.

   4.  Navigate to your Bibliography Style File folder on your C: Drive:             C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Bibliography\Style

   5.  Paste the two style files into this location.

   6.  The style files will now be available as a Style dropdown option in Word.
