  1. Getting Started with ArcGIS Pro (10:09) - This is the most basic introduction to starting a project in ArcGIS Pro, loading a basemap, and using the navigation and measuring tools. It is useful for brand new beginners to the software, but also those who are very familiar with ArcMap, and would like a heads up on how the software has morphed recently.
  2. Creating Feature Classes in ArcGIS Pro (8:43) - ArcGIS Pro stores feature classes (previously shapefiles) within geodatabases. Feature classes consist of points, lines, and polygons and are the basis of what we use when we create data for mapping.
  3. Creating and Editing Feature Classes in ArcGIS Pro (9:11) - We start to look at the basic aspects of manual digitizing to create and modify features in a feature class within ArcGIS Pro. Here we are looking at blue, green, and grey infrastructure. We also look at how we can change the symbology of a feature class within the Table of Contents.
  4. Viewing and Editing the Attribute Table in ArcGIS Pro (15:38) - Here we take a look at the data behind the shapes, which is the real power of a GIS compared to a vector drawing package. This information is held in the attribute table. In the video we edit some attributes both as single records, then also as multiple records using the 'calculate field' function. We also learn how to symbolize a feature class using unique values.
  5. Summarizing Attribute Tables in ArcGIS Pro (3:59) - The attribute tables of our feature classes often hold a lot of information that we need to distill down into simple statistics. Here we look at the Summarize tool to show how simply we can create a table of basic statistics based on a single feature class.
  6. Calculating Percentages within an ArcGIS Pro Attribute Table (3:02) - Super short demo video to show you how to use the calculate field tool within the attribute table to populate a percentage field.
  7. Creating a Simple Map Layout in ArcGIS Pro (10:57) - A map isn't just a satellite image or a digitized and analyzed feature class. You need to create a layout that includes a scale bar, north arrow, legend, title, author, etc. This turns your work from data into a communication piece. The essential map elements are essential for a reason - they are there to help others interpret and understand all of your hard work!
  8. Advanced Map Elements in ArcGIS Pro (12:44) - Perhaps you've created a basic map layout with all the essential map elements, but you'd like to extend yourself and your cartographic skills. I'm no artist, but I can certainly show you how to make some simple additions and changes to create a more sophisticated map. Here I cover labels, insets and extent markers, graphs, north arrow properties, tidying up your legend, moving / removing the basemap credits, aligning and resizing.
  9. Importing CSV Text Files with XY Data into ArcGIS Pro (2:52) - I've collected some field survey data using Epicollect5 and exported it as a CSV. Here I show how you can easily bring it (and any other text co-ordinate data) into ArcGIS Pro to further your analyses.
  10. Select By Attributes Query Builder in ArcGIS Pro (3:52) - Learn how to use the select by attributes tool for creating super simple queries and selecting records in ArcGIS Pro.
